1. How can I purchase a PNS domain?
PNS is not officially launched yet, and you will be able to buy your domain after our Moonriver version is released. Currently, you can join our event with Cooperative partners and pre-register a preferred PNS domain.
2. When will PNS be officially available?
The Moonriver version of PNS is currently undergoing testing and will be launched once its functionality is stable. The pallet deployment version of PNS will be launched after successful deployment on the cooperative parachain.
3. Are there any tokens or airdrops associated with PNS?
PNS does not have any plans for tokens or airdrops at the moment. However, we highly value our early supporters (that includes you), and we will keep you updated on any developments.
4. Why is there a limitation of 7 characters for domain names?
We will gradually open registration for domains with fewer characters in the future. Currently, PNS is still in its early stages. The limitation is in place to prevent early users from quickly acquiring a large number of short domain names at a low cost, which could result in latecomers having to purchase domain names from others at a high cost. Our goal is to foster a fair and vibrant community.
5. What are the registration and annual fees for PNS domains?
The registration fee for a 10-character domain will be $20, and the annual fee will be $5/year. After the first year, the renewal fee will also be $5/year. We may offer some early bird discounts during the initial launch, so please stay tuned for updates.
